About the Role:
Gammon Theological Seminary in Atlanta, GA is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assessment and Learning Specialist to join their academic team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the educational experience of future theological leaders by driving meaningful assessment strategies and fostering a culture of continuous learning and academic excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and evaluate student learning assessments aligned with institutional and accreditation standards
- Collaborate with faculty to develop curriculum assessment tools and outcome measurement strategies
- Analyze assessment data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for academic program improvement
- Support faculty in integrating evidence-based instructional practices and learning technologies
- Coordinate institutional effectiveness reporting and accreditation documentation related to student learning outcomes
- Facilitate professional development workshops for faculty on assessment best practices
- Maintain accurate records of assessment activities, findings, and improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Higher Education Administration, or a related field
- Experience in academic assessment, instructional design, or educational program evaluation
- Familiarity with accreditation processes and institutional effectiveness frameworks
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with faculty and administration
- Experience in a theological, seminary, or faith-based academic environment is a plus
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to academic excellence and student success
